Our custom home building process is unlike any other in the Omaha and Lincoln areas. Our authentic, individualized, one-of-a-kind, high-end custom home projects are designed and constructed specifically for you. We custom-design your home based on factors others don’t consider: your lifestyle, how you entertain, how you relax, the characteristics of your lot, and how to make the best use of all those factors.
Curt Hofer & Associates sees each client as someone with whom we will develop a long-term relationship. Because of some projects’ intricacies, we sometimes work with clients for years developing their #someday.
Our process begins with Steve Huber, who visits with you, gets to know you, listens to your vision, and learns how you want your custom home to live. He builds an understanding of your needs and helps translate those needs into other aspects of the process. We want our clients to share their want lists so that we, in return, can help them envision the cost of those lists while still making their dream a reality.
The process then includes our Design Team, which covers the logistics like the number of rooms, size, and style of the new home. They, like Steve, put the home to paper—drawing “the old-fashioned way.” Oftentimes, the Design Team works with you through private Pinterest boards to help transform your inspiration and ideas into design. The Design Team also assists you when you grow and change to create additions or renovations that continue the style of your home.
The process then moves to Craig Linnenbrink, Vice President of Construction. Craig’s unique background in drafting, estimating, and work as a construction superintendent allows him to understand the entire process as it moves into construction and into the future. Project management is critical throughout the construction process, and our construction team’s reputation has attracted and maintained the best and highest-skilled subcontractors and specialists. If at any time you would like a site walk-through, your superintendent is happy to welcome you and serve as a resource on-site.
The final walkthrough is the perfect time to look over every detail of your new home to make sure it’s just right. Don’t worry if you miss something small—our One Year Warranty is in place to make sure everything is in working order.
Because our relationships are as important as our custom-built homes, we employ a full-time Warranty Manager who is available to you at all times. The manager acts as your single point of contact for questions about any issue in your home, and you’re welcome to contact the manager at any time with questions or situations that require immediate attention!
Our Service Program is designed to assist you in extending the value of your home with continued individualized improvements. You tell us what project you need completed, and we handle the rest. We help with requests ranging from adjusting a door to painting a room to adding an outdoor kitchen. You create the list, and we take it from there. You can contact us with any service, remodel, or addition request, and our Service team will evaluate the request, provide an estimate, and complete the work. “No project is too big or too small.”
